Post (FINAL) Animated Snes9xGX forwarder channel
UPDATE: It's officially done! :D
Took wilsoffs advise and retilted the screenshots, sound now loops.
Here's a vid, along with a look at the Metroid channelpaper for my Metroid theme. :)

The sound is quiet, hell I even used the actual camera, and had the volume up...anyway, here's the mp3 for it:

The forwarder, once again by djdynamite123, points to \apps\Snes9xGX\, which is where the HBB installs to. :)

Made testing WADder 2.7 :D

Looks great. Unfortunately there isn't an easy way to fix the tiliting the wrong way thing. It reuses one of the images once more than it should and I think that's the problem. You might be able to edit the brlyt to get it to use an aditional image, but it would be a pain the arse. I quite like the look of a few of them tilting the same way, maybe think about swapping the tilt on a few more so that it's more consistent. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, I was afraid that it would be a 'not-worth-the-effort' effort. Thanks for the input!

Hey bg4m3r I edited your channel a little bit and I thought I'd share it, hope you don't mind...

I made it forward to sd:/snes9x/boot.dol so you can just run it from the same folder as the saves and roms, it makes more sense if you don't want the HBC full of programs you never run. You can still run the boot.dol from the HBC if you want it there.

I also changed the background image of the snes thing lol I'm guessing that's the ntsc version of snes that was on your channel, I put the snes that I remember from when I was younger.

Blocks: 24
Wad Id: SNES

Cool, looks good, and I don't mind at all. :)

Yes, mine has a USA SNES in it...I wanted to use the exact image you did actually, but couldn't get it cleaned up good enough to suit myself, so I went with the other one. :P I guess, if you wanted to get technical, mine has a Super Nintendo, and yours has a Super Famicom. :>

It's kind of funny, people were complaining that forwarders weren't pointing to where the HBB installs stuff, now some people are removing them from the apps folder all together! lol

hmm...I wonder if that would fix my problems with Tyrian....

I'm from aus...we call em super nintendo's lol I thought the u.s called them famicom's...the one in the picture there is the same as the ones released in aus.

This is how all emulator forwarders should be made, it works out better this way if you just want to load emu's from the wii menu and keep the HBC organised, but the program can still be loaded from a snes9x folder in the apps folder because it will load roms and saves from the sd:/snes9x folder anyway...you could even use the boot.dol forwarder from the channel in the snes9x folder inside the apps folder if you wanted to save a few mb.

I made it forward to sd:/snes9x/boot.dol because you can store all the roms and saves in the sd:/snes9x folder and not have anything at all in the apps folder that way if you don't wanna have the emulator in the HBC you don't have to.

I'm gonna see about making NANDLoader that loads from SD and/or NAND depending if the file is on SD (aka if its not on SD, it looks on NAND). But don't expect me to try anytime soon!

Nope, we call em Nintendos here too...Famicom is the Jap name, the one in mine is actually the 'modernized' US one, I think...there are so many styles of that thing I can't keep em straight any more! lol
