Ewes is a utility to edit wad files

What can it do?

      - Extract the 00.app file from a Wad.
      - Extract the Bin`s from a Wad or 00.app.
      - Change the TitleID of a Wad.
      - Make a Wad RegionFree.
      - Make an 00.App file.
      - Extract Tpl`s from Wad`s, App`s and Bin`s.
      - Make a Wad out of a 00.App and Dol.
      - Convert a Tpl to Png.
      - Convert a Mp3 to a Sound.bin.
      - Convert a Elf to Dol.
      - Extract the Brlyt and Brlan from a wad or 00.app.
      - Inject a 00.app file into a Wad.
      - Make a Banner or Icon.bin.
      - Extract the Opening.bnr from a Iso file.
      - Extract everyting from a Wad.
      - Browse the files inside the Wad Just like WinRAR does with Rar files.
      - Preview the tpl's in a wad,00.app or bin file.
      - Unpack the sound.bin to either Wav or Bns.
      - Change the NANDloader in a wad.

How to Install

  • download Ewes.
  • Extract the downloaded rar file.(WinRAR works)
  • Run Ewes v11.exe and follow the on-screen instructions.

- Added the ability to replace the files and repack the wad
  in the Wad browser.
- Changed the link in GUI to open a new GUI instead and show the
  latest updates about the the progress in the next release.
- Added a sound playing while the app runs. its possible to stop it.
- Fixed the bug where the wadbrowser didn't open a new wad if a
  wad already was open.

V10:

- Added the ability to unpack a sound.bin to either Wav or Bns
- Added a "Read info from wad" button in the WadBrowser.

- Made the music player have its own window.
  that way its possible to stop the sound if you'r not in the mainGUI.

V11:

- Added the ability to replace the NANDloader in a wad.(custom wads only)
- Added a "Wad Info" window in the WadBrowser.
- Added a hex editor by Maël Hörz in the wad browser.
- Added a few more details on the preview of the TMD file in WadBrowser.
- Added a temporarely folder to keep files in in the wadbrowser.
- The wad browser can now play the sound.bin(even if its bns)
- Fixed some bugs.

V12:

- Added the ability to convert PNG's to TPL's.
- Added these stuff to the WADBrowser:
    - Instead of going to the root of the WAD it goes up a folder.
    - When replacing a TPL file you can select PNG's too.
    - A big speed improvement when reading the Channel Name.
    - More info in the WAD info box. stuff like the Path on the
      nand on your wii where the WAD is installed, which IOS it
      uses and which region the WAD is.
    - Bug Fixes.
- You can now change the skin.
- Redesigned some parts in the main menu.
- New icon.
- New song.
- Added a track bar in the sound player window.
