Summary
This is a simple app created by Jacol Beyros that unpacks all of the images from .wad, .app, .bnr, .bin, and/or .tpl file(s) as a chosen file format. As an accompanyment to WADder, custom channel creation is easier than a metaphor for something really easy.
AetherMaster, the portable app maker, has created a portable Extract Images. Check it out if you're having problems.
Basic Use
- Open the program.
- You will be prompted to choose a file to extract images from. Click "Browse..." to find one.
- If you wish to extract from multiple files, use the second input box to choose a folder stuffed full of the supported files. NOTE: If using this option, all files MUST be supported, or the program will fail.
- Then you must choose what format you wish the extracted files to be in. You may choose any one, two, three, four, or five. PNG is the default format.
- Finally, click "Extract Images". After a while, there will be a new folder on your desktop called "Images". Inside of that folder will be more folders, each named after the corresponding filename. Inside any one of those, you'll find two more folders, "Banner" and "Icon". Inside those, you will find the corresponding images free to edit or do whatever with. If you extracted from a 00.app/opening.bnr, you'll find all the images in a app;bnr folder. Banner.bin images will be in banner_bin, icon.bin in icon_bin,and .tpl files in TPLs.
